Hawaii vacation part 3
7:48 PM
Early Tuesday morning we caught our flight for Kauai. By the time we got our rental car and made it to the hotel, I was so exhausted. We crammed in a lot on the Big Island, that it wasn't until we slowed down did I realize how tired I was. I took a nap at the hotel and then we went exploring.......
I had heard amazing things about Queens bath. During the summer, you can swim around in it, and its the most clear waters. Since we went during the winter season, the waves were huge and it was very unsafe to get in which was a bummer but I was expecting it. The sun was so bright that you can't tell where we are, but had to document that we still went there--haha
Then we drove to the very north west of the island and saw the sunset!
The next day we went to the Napali coast to hike. This was the one main attraction we wanted to spend lots of time at. We, or mostly I, love the mountains and the Napali Coast and I've always wanted to hike them. It was 2 miles to a beach area and then you can track you way another 2 miles to a waterfall.
There were all these rocks stacked at the beach
The 2 mile hike to the waterfall was very muddy and hard but so worth it! This picture doesn't do it justice. It was amazing to hike up and then from the crack of 2 moutains you see the most beautiful falls. We swam in it for a little bit and went under it to feel the power and then made our 4 mile trek back to the car. We stopped at Hanalei Bay Pizzeria and had the most amazing pizza. Not sure if it's because we were starving or that it was really that good, but we inhaled it all!
Seriously the most beautiful hike!
