During the month of August:

-Bryan rotated in internal medicine at Sun City. His hours were awesome, 8-4pm each day and no weekends! It was amazing having him home at nights, something I missed while he was in school. We spent a lot of our nights dropping our kids off at the day care at our local grocery store and just walking around the aisles, chatting. It was the best!

-Because of the hot weather, Evelyn hasn't been consistently riding her bike without training wheels. So every time she does, it's like riding for the first time. Unfortunately this time, she ran right into the back of a parked jeep and cut open her head. I freaked out more than she did when Bryan walked through the door, holding Evelyn, both covered in blood

-6 year Anniversary!!! Seriously, Bryan has made me such a better person these past 6 years. That day on our anniversary, I kept thinking how little I really knew Bryan going into marriage, yet I would make the same decision six years later. He is just that great!!


We dropped off our kids at my SIL Kelsie's house and made it to a session in the Mesa temple. Then we came back, fed Hudson and then drove to an indoor rock climbing gym. It had been the first time rock climbing without our kids. It was made aware to me once again, how little muscles I have :) Since we usually climb outdoors it was fun to try out so many different climbs in less than 2 hours! Afterwards we headed to Cheesecake factory for dinner.


-There is this italian ice place that we love here! And it just so happens that one opened to us in walking distance of our apt!! (this may be a bad thing!) Anyways, they were having a grand opening and giving away free italian ice for a whole year if you were the first 50 in line. So some of my friends and I divided and conquer. They dropped off their kids at my place and stood in line around 7:30am. Then Bryan comes back from work, saying he didnt have to go in to work so he drove over and stood in line. So we all got free ice for a year! SCORE! Evelyn looks miserable here probably because it was hot but I promise she was happy! :)

-We had an unexpected cool day here in AZ.......like 95 degrees so we headed over to our long lost friend, the park!
