July highlights
10:13 PMI'm going to follow the example of my sisters and do monthly updates because I can't keep up with everything I want to record! So here goes the highlights of July (Ps I just realized that Christian is without clothes in all of the pictures! oops! BUt it wouldn't be the exact depiction of our life if he DID have clothes on :)
Bryan starts rotations:
B's first rotation was transplant surgery in Phoenix. How cool is that huh? And he loved it! He was put with some awesome residents and surgeons who helped make the experience so much better. He got to scrub into 1 or 2 surgeries a day. Transplant surgeries usually last up to 5+ hours so it made for some long days
He would leave at 3:30am and usually not get home until 6:30pm. He was so exhausted for a whole month straight but loved every bit of it........I had different feelings about the rotation ;)
Potty training Christian:
Easiest 'kid to potty train' award goes to this guy!
I wish I could take the credit for how easy of an experience it was but I just can't. I vowed to Bryan a few months back that I wouldn't potty train Christian until he was about to enter kindergarten. I have just been so maxed out with three kids that there was no way I was going to tackle it now. So I went out and bought over 250 size 4 diapers to prove to Bryan!
And few weeks later, Christian is taking off his diaper, on his own, to go pee/poop in the toilet and I find myself potty training him a lot earlier than planned.
He has done awesome, thanks to the spiderman underwear that did the trick! I still remind him a lot throughout the day but his accidents are very few.

| I love this picture of him asleep and holding on to his spiderman (his award for being potty trained) |
Swimming:
This has been our life for 3 solid months now. We are at our pool daily! It's been so fun because a group of us moms meet up at a certain time and it makes the days fly by! We end up talking and playing for 3+ hours! I know I'm crazy, but I'm going to miss the summer when we could hang out at the pool all day long!

| I had no idea Evelyn was snapping these pictures but I thought it depicts our life well. |

Evelyn and Christian have learned so much this summer in the pool. They are both swimming on their own. Christian still struggles, coming up for air and then going back down but overall, he has been doing awesome!

Hudson on solid foods:
I hate that this kid is growing up! I really wish time would just freeze at this stage! I love 5-6month old babies!!!
Lots of cousin time:
And lastly, I love these kids tons! They put up with all my frustrations and moments when I'm impatient. (And unfortunately it happens more than I would like to admit!) But they forgive me over and over and I'm a much better person because of them!
