some family time!

10:17 PM

After we came home from San Diego we had one WHOLE week with no school, studying or work! And it felt sooooo good!

We crammed in a lot in one week and by the end my kids were exhuasted!
One of the best parts of it all? Not having to cook! We made it a vacation for ourselves by either picking up food or going out! It was so relaxing!

RECAP by each day:
-swimming and dinner to Chino Banditos with our neighbors

-Got last minute tickets to the movie, Rise of the Guardians then lunch at Chick Fil A, then we went to the library and more swimming

C at our awesome library

-Date with Bryan to the Mesa Temple (thanks Kelsie for babysitting!!) then lunch to cafe rio. And then more swimming!

-July 4th ward breakfast, swimming at our friends, the Kogas, while Bryan and Adney chopped down some trees in their backyard. Then fireworks that night with the kids

Evelyn improved so much during this week and learned to float on her back

I tried to explain the importance of the 4th of July to Evelyn. I explained it by saying it was America's birthday. She of course associates cake with birthdays and insisted we eat a cake! (Except America is a little older than 2!)

Watching the fireworks from the car. I might add that we lasted 10 minutes before we were dripping in sweat

-Taking the kids to PETCO which they absolutely loved

-Cabellas with the kids and then shopping for dress clothes for Bryan. That night we picked up pizza and ate dinner with our friends at the pool

C learning how to dive

This is how we all felt by the end of the week!
