In the primary song, "Saturday is a special day it's the day we get ready for Sunday" BUT in Evelyn's mind, Saturday is a special day it's the day for swimming and slurpees.
So when Saturday came Bryan made the mistake of telling Evelyn in the morning that they would be going swimming when he got home from the library at 5:30pm. So ALL day Evelyn wore her swimsuit in anticipation.
