Last Tuesday I took the advantage, while Evelyn was sleeping, to catch some zzzzs. Bryan came home from school earlier than expected and didn't have his house key to unlock the door. So he rang the doorbell, no answer. He knocked on the door very loudly, no answer. He called my phone........5 times but my phone was in a different room. Afraid he may wake Evelyn up from her precious nap by making noise,he goes down to the car. He worked on his homework, watched some tv on hulu and checked his email. After an HOUR in the car, he walked back up to the apt and rang the doorbell 4 times. I have to admit, I woke up ticked because he just had woken up Evelyn. My feelings changed dramatically when I found out he waited patiently for an hour. I felt terrible but Bryan's a saint for letting me sleep one extra hour!! The funny thing is, this hasn't been the first time he has been locked out. But Bryan is so chill and will take the chance to walk to the library and read books while he waits for me.
