One of Evelyn's dreams is to ride a horse so we checked around to stables and found a place you could ride for one time. She was in heaven! 

Evelyn is so helpful around the house and with the kids. I know it's not easy being the oldest for her with 4 younger siblings but she does such a great job! One thing about Evelyn is she is great about looking out for others. She looks out how to help her teachers and she also loved being a school patrol officer. She is in charge of making sure the 1st graders know how to get to their class in the morning and that at the end of the day they know which bus to get on.  One afternoon, she saw a boy outside of the school wandering around who looked sad. Most kids had left at this point and Evelyn went over asking if he was okay. He said that his dad never came to pick him up. She walked him to the front office and waited by him while he called and also waited for his dad to pick him up. This is the nature of Evelyn. She loves to help out!
