This island is absolutely amazing and blows me away everytime we pass the beautiful steep mountains or play long hours at the beach. I can tell my kids are getting annoyed of me saying "you guys look at those mountains, they are so amazing"  as they recently told me...."mom you say that alllllll the time" 

But it's true ;) But what has made the time here even more special is having family come visit. I feel like we become tourist on the island as we turn down all responsibilites and just party. Herb and Ciara came out for 10 days and we were so lucky to hang out with them for part of it.

We first went on the makapuu lighthouse hike and went down to the blow hole. They call it the dragon's nostrils. We then went to Sophie's Pizza to top the day off.
