Utah vacation--visiting the Johns family
1:44 PM
While we lived in Provo for four years we were lucky to live 40 min away from my sister Alice-Anne and Bryan's sister Kelsie. We LOVED having family close by......and mooching off their washer and dryer may be part of the reason too! :) And on Sundays when we were bored, we would often find ourselves making the drive to Salt Lake. It's a joke that we always call them when we are 10 min away from their house making sure they were actually home. I miss those days when we could do that. 10 hours now seems a bit too long for a sunday drive. I can't believe I was babysitting my niece Kenna the day Spencer was born and now he is turning 5 this year. We really got to be close to both families and so I was excited to find out my roommates wedding was in Utah. That just meant I could mooch off them a little more. At least this time I graciously gave them a little more than 10min notice that I was coming.
Spencer, the most enthusiastic little 4 year old I know. When he talks he is constantly jumping up and down on his toes. Seriously the cutest thing!

Christian actually hated it
This is Kenna, Evelyn's idol. She was in school most of the time we were there but the moment we got home, Evelyn didn't leave her sight.
On Saturday, me and the kiddos went over to Bryan's mission reunion to stop in and see President and Sister Gingery, his mission presidents. They are some of the coolest people around. I'm so glad we were there in Utah at the same time so we could see them.
On Sunday we had a family dinner with some of my other siblings and celebrated my sister-in-law Danielle's birthday. She turned 24 on the April 24th. How cool huh?
Playing lots of games with cousins.....
I can't believe I never took a picture of my sistersd and I but I have to insert how refreshing of a break it was. The week before my vacation, it happened to be an extremely busy week for Bryan. I really thought I was going to go insane. Luckily I had this trip to look forward to and just spending lots of time talking and laughing with my sisters made it so much easier to come back and gear up for finals. THANKS JOHNS family again for putting up with us!
