Our week
11:13 PMThe beginning of the week, it was 55 degrees, which was super cold for us, and so I cooked up a vegetarian chili I have been wanting to make and it was so good! I'm such a fan of soups but living in AZ, I can never justify making any. So, when I scanned the upcoming week's forecast and surprisingly saw it was going to be in the 50s, I had to put it on the menu.
Then on Wednesday my cousin, Esther and her kids invited us to go to the zoo with them . Esther and I's birthdays are 3 days apart and she actually came to live with me during my junior year of high school, so we are practically sisters.
We managed to control 6 kids under the age of 5 as we ventured through a busy day at the zoo and it was such a blast!
Funny story: We are in the courtyard eating our lunch while Evelyn and some of her cousins run off to a play place next the tables. I was the one manning the tables and watching some of the kids while Esther took the other ones to the bathroom. Right then, Bryan sends me text and I'm quickly replying to it when I hear Evelyn run up to me. I look up and noticed she is completely naked. A mother comes up right behind her and explains that,on her own, Evelyn squatted and went to the bathroom in front of a their table. So not only did my child just pee in front of an audience but I'm also texting on the phone right when this happens and look like the most neglectant parent ever!

I had to prove that Christian was there too. And of course he was climbing on anything he could touch
LOVE this picture of them two.
Possibly the laziest animal. Makes me appreciate even more the phrase, "slow and steady wins the race"

The rest of the week was spent at the library, preschool, tons of bike rides and going on walks. We spend a lot of time these days cruising around our apt complex whether on foot or bike.
