I have always hated trying clothes on at Target and now with a child I REALLY hate trying on clothes there. Here is the reason (and maybe some of you can relate)........YOU CAN'T TAKE YOUR CART IN THE ROOM.
Now I understand the lack of space makes it impossible for a cart to fit but because of this you have to leave your cart outside right in the aisle where people are searching for clothes.
So, last week I was at Target and I purposely went to the clothing area first before I got the other necessary items because I knew I would have to abandon my cart while in the dressing room. Well, when I found everything I needed to try on I left my cart amongst the many others to get into the dressing room. Now remember, I have Evelyn (who weighs a ton plus a carseat) my diaper bag and clothes to try on all in my hand as I enter. Once I tried on everything, I made my way back out to find my cart GONE. Normally, I wouldn't be too bugged by this but the fact that I had to carry Evelyn in her carseat, the diaper bag and the clothes, this really tested my patience. So I then made my way back up to the front of the store for another cart.
I have decided that next time I'm in Target and need to try on clothes, I'll just take random clothing items to fill my basket so no one thinks of taking it :) Bryan appreciates Target's dressing room inconvience because now I have no desire to go through that hasle again which means.........no purchased clothing items!
