Just a couple of weeks ago, Evelyn has started taking to a pacifier. I didn't realize how great they are until she was willing to take it. We have been only trying to give it to her when she goes down for a nap.....but the only problem is, Evelyn (and her parents) are quite aware when her pacifier falls out her mouth. She will scream from the top of her lungs like she is dying. Just today Evelyn has discovered the handle on her pacifier and has begun to realize that if she tugs on that handle the pacifier falls out. For some reason, this is such an amusement to her. So today when I put her down for a nap I put in the pacifier in her mouth and shut the door. 2 min later I could hear her screaming. So I decided to wait awhile to see if she would just cry herself to sleep. Since that didn't work, I went back into her room and right when she saw me she started laughing. I took the pacifier and placed into her mouth. She smiled and reached for the handle, this time pulling it out and throwing it in her crib. I was trying not to laugh because I really wanted her to sleep but how could you not!

Also, is it possible for a 3 1/2 month old to already start teething?
