One day after Easter, Evelyn woke up to a rash around her face. I noticed she was itching it but didn't think much about it. We thought she might have been exposed to posion ivy after she did an easter egg hunt in our neighbors backyard. The next day it got even worse. Her eyes were more swollen and she didn't look so good. I took her to a pediatric clinic that night and they gave her a prescription for an antibiotics. We picked it up but then the next day it was EVEN WORSE. Her eyes were almost shut tight, puss was starting to seep off her face and she was not feeling good . Bryan took her into the clinic again that night but they told her to go to the hospital and they would admit her into the hospital. At this point, I was very nervous and scared. I had no idea what would come next.

Luckily, Bryan was very confident it would be okay. She was in the hospital over night and then came back the next evening. Once the fluid and antibiotic kicked in, she was starting to feel better which was good because she was pretty miserable the night before. I think she liked the royal treatment of cafetaria food, nurses who chatted with her and the unlimited amount of tv she got. 

It was a crazy week for us, but so many people stepped in to help us. Our friends the Harells who work with Bryan, sent us an uber eats gift card for dinner and Alice-Anne sent us dominoes pizza and chiptole for dinner that night.
