collection of photos from the fall of 2018

2018 summer felt like a blur in time. We moved to Maryland with just 6 suitcases and none of our belongings. Meaning, we sat in camping chairs and slept on air mattresses. It was hard. But we survived and having school start gave me a breath of fresh air to get things organized in my head and with our belongings (which showed up the day after the kids went to the first day of school.) I'm super proud of my kids for adjusting so well to a new school. This was Evelyn's third school and when I walked down the halls with her to her fourth grade class. For the first time I saw some major fear and nervousness. Luckily she saw a nice girl who was also alone at the time and they became good friends. Man, kids are resilient!
