Arizona State fair

8:16 PM

One Saturday morning while the husbands were studying for finals, my friends Stacey and Ali attempted the state fair with 6 children under the age of 3. It was super crazy, fun and exhausting!! I think we all agreed that we would take our husbands next time.

Although we never documented it, the kids and I got a funnel cake in honor of Bryan's absence. He claims it's a sin to go to a state fair and not order one.

One funny thing to not forget:
To save some money on parking, we parked at the capitol building and took a shuttle over to the fair. There were a couple different shuttles painted black and white......which Evelyn made note of when we got there.
So anyway, we hopped on the shuttle and made our way to the back of the bus. I begin to look around and see that the majority of people on this bus were black when Evelyn yells,

"Mom, we are on the black bus!!!
Why can't we go on the white bus?
I wanna go on the white bus"

At this point I'm super embarrased and tempted to tell Evelyn, "Why don't you ALSO tell everyone that we aren't voting for Obama so they REALLY think we are racist!!"

Gotta love the innocents of children! :)
