I laughed when I got my sister's text on Friday, August 24th that said "Happy 5th anniversary you guys.......so romantic"

Because what she didn't realize was Bryan and I both spaced our anniversary.......talk about romantic huh!?

The week leading up to it was spent in many late nights of packing boxes,moving them and unpacking them. And then waking up with our kids who decide that morning time is 5:30am. So by the time Friday came we were living in survival mode.

BUT despite the craziness and forgetting our 5th anniversary, we are totally still in love and I'm so glad I made that decision 5 years ago to marry Bryan and to be sealed for eternity!

I don't think I really realized when I got married how much Bryan's personality and way of life was so perfect for me.
Just one experience that happened recently that totally demonstrates this.

After the break in, we sat down and budgeted out how much we would need to spend on new electronics and our new monthly rent. I was getting a (tad) stressed out by it all and I told Bryan that we would have to cut out the weekly lunch to Hot Bagel with his buddies from school.

The next day, he comes home and says "I got a job as a tutor, can I now go out to lunch" How could you say no to that!? Bryan lives up to his philosophy, "Don't spend less,  just make more"

He keeps me laughing and stress free during so many stressful times in my life! I feel so, So SO lucky to have him in my life!

As a funny note, I reminded Bryan that 2 days before our 4th anniversary our car got stolen and then 2 weeks before our 5th anniversary, our apt gets broken into. I'm terrified for our 6th anniversary to come!! Wouldn't you!?
