Easter 2012 part 2

9:45 PM

I always thought Christmas was my favorite holiday but every time Easter comes around, I'm more and more convinced that this is the best. I love the stress free holiday and the chance to ponder and give thanks for the power of the atonement and the knowledge that we all will be resurrected!

The day of Easter actually was an epic day. It was filled with throw-up and bathroom accidents all day long. (which is why we have 1 picture on Easter....) So that night we canceled our plans with friends and had dinner with just the four of us and despite it all, I'm glad we did since it was a much needed family bonding time.

For dinner we had some breaded talapia, mashed potatoes and asparagus! I'm not much of a fish person but this stuff is good! (on a side note: meat free march is over with. I was excited to have some chicken but Bryan was the one who suggested we just stay meat free at home.....tables have turned :) So I've made one chicken dish since and after that dinner I realized that someone else in the family missed meat too. Evelyn couldn't get enough of the chicken. It was like chocolate chips right in front of her. I felt so bad. I had no idea how much she actually liked the stuff!
