"give me a break, give me break..."

7:58 PM

With Bryan finishing his last final on Monday February 27th, it meant a whole week with no school, tests or studying. It was finally a break for Bryan and I.

But apparently the meaning "break" was totally different for both of us.

Bryan's thoughts and intentions for the break: sleep, rock climb and chill at home.

Meredith's thoughts and intention for the break: Get as much done as possible and go to every place we never get to go to with Bryan in school.

So we both soon found out that we had different expectations and Bryan was a good sport to fullfill my plans for the week.

Play by play of the break:

-Tried to get the car registered in AZ (it's been a hurdle and we have been at the DMV 3 times now!!)
-Bryan played basketball with some school buddies
-Took the kids over to my cousin Carolyn's beautiful new home and spent all day there with her and my cousin Esther
-Bryan went rockclimbing
-Spent hours dejunking our apt! It looks so much better now. I can't believe we moved all that junk from Utah to AZ
-game night with some friends
-Bryan and I played endless amount of games of Ticket to Ride on the ipad
-went to the temple and out to Cafe rio afterwards
-Saw more of my cousins at Power of Moms
-got my haircut
-double date to Jumpstreet ( a fun center where they have all these trampolines and obstacle courses)
-Bryan let me sleep in until 11am!!!
-Bought another bike and went on our first family bike ride!! After buying a bike trailer off craigslist, all we needed was a bike for me. So Bryan graciously gave me his bike and went out and bought one for him. The kids love his yellow tires. So now we are storing a kayak, surfboard, bike trailer, 2 bikes and a double jogging stroller all in our 2 bedroom apt.
-dinner and games with a family in our ward

This week flew right by and we are back to reality. Just 10 more weeks left of Bryan's first year of medical school!

I brought out the keyboard for the first time in a long while and Evelyn can never get enough of it
